Looking to Make Money on The Net? – Look Out for These Two Tricks
One of the enduring challenges that we face online every day, is the fact that most things are never as they appear. This is especially true for those of us who keep a watchful eye on new ways to make money on the net. Here are two quick examples.
1. There is always an upsell – look for it.
Gone are the days when you can simply look for the price of a product on a website, and console yourself that “yes”, I can afford that. More often than not, you are going to be faced with an up-sell. This is one of the enduring constants in the Internet Marketing niche. If you just found the system that you think is finally going the help you earn cash from home, and expect to pay the listed price, good luck.
Chances are, there is an upsell that is oh so appealing, that there is just no way that the original offer is going to be any good without the up-sell. This is most annoying when you know for sure that you cannot afford the upgraded price. If you have a teenager who constantly “up-sizes every McDonald meal”, then I am sure you can relate.
2. Sorry but they are “gonna” need more than your shipping address.
This one is probably more irksome, and certainly will cost you more money in the long run as well. It is only the method of delivery of the goods that has changed. I could easily swear that Internet marketers constantly hold underground brain-storming sessions where they simply unearth more devious ways to squeeze more money from every person who visit their websites or blog.
Have you ever seen an offer that requires you to simply register for the fabulous “free” gift, and that you only have to pay for shipping? I am sure you have, as long as you are on the mailing list of some of our popular gurus. Now, that is all well and good. Everyone wants to make money on the net, even the gurus. The real challenge for me however is not just that I will be asked to pay for shipping with my credit card. In fact, I can really understand and relate to that. The real challenge for me is the “up-sell” that’s coming on the next screen.
Make no mistake about this. Having forked out your credit card information, you can rest assured that there is going to be an up-sell you cannot afford to miss. After all, what could be easier? Your credit card info is already on file. The problem with this approach of course is the forceful decision that you now have to hastily make. I know it is all legitimate and so forth but at the end of the day, I still feel a little cheated. Don’t you? If you are constantly look for viable work from home ideas, then be sure to look out for these tactics.
