A Day In the Life

Even after all these years I still find it amazing the various ways you must balance just to exist with any degree of serenity.

My dear wife recently bore our second child and soon after we moved into our new house. Indeed, those are both momentous events in anyone’s life, so things are destined to be frenzied, yet it still looks overwhelming when you enumerate every small thing you’re weighing and processing.

Just yesterday I had to remember to locate and purchase my wife stretch mark treatment to help her recuperate after our child’s birth. And during that same trip I had to locate a new watch for my eldest daughter.

My little child’s been obsessed with clocks lately and I considered it time she received her 1st true watch. But determining the best watches for kids isn’t easy. What will be entertaining yet not pass out of favour in mere weeks? And I had to deliberate safety as well.

I know I want her to have an authentic timepiece and not only a mobile phone or other digital device to accomplish the purpose. I want her to focus on time and not get distracted by whatever other digital pleasures a device might offer.

Following that playful stop, I had to turn to my own interests too.

I’m at long last sliding into that age where my head’s hair is withdrawing as the tide following a full moon. Friends tell me that prevention of hair loss has improved greatly in recent years, but I only have not had time to investigate the most legitimate ways to deal with my trivial aging trouble.

I did not really make much progress. Yet hopefully following a wee bit of online research I’ll be better organized next time.
